TECNIMA^® Anticipates High Demand for AMD K7

TECNIMA^® Limited today announced it is gearing up for sales of systems with the new K7 processor which is to be released soon by chip manufacturer AMD. Once again, the Surrey based hardware supplier's close links with the manufacturer has ensured a guaranteed early supply of the new K7. Once the K7 is launched TECNIMA^® will be offering K7 based systems in various configurations, and one of the new range will supercede their current K6-III promotion, at a very attractive price.

Ian Smith, Managing Director, said "we know there will be a high demand for systems with the K7, our clients have been asking us about it for weeks. With the launch imminent we've made sure we can meet the expected demand and are in a position to supply it immediately. There will be significant additions of K7 systems to our product range."

TECNIMA^® Ships First AMD K6-III Systems

TECNIMA^® Limited today launched a range of systems based on the new AMD K6-III processor. Although many suppliers have still to receive their shipments of the new CPU, TECNIMA's close links with chip manufacturer AMD has ensured an early supply of the processors. TECNIMA^® is building systems with various configurations that feature the K6-III, and are even using the new CPU as part of their current Special Offer.

Ian Smith, Managing Director, said "with all the publicity surrounding the launch of the K6-III customers have been asking about systems with it for several weeks, and we've taken a number of advance orders. Our strong relationship with AMD helped obtain the product well in advance of other suppliers, and we are already shipping systems with the K6-III. We anticipated the high demand for it, and are therefore in a position to supply it immediately".
